About Dr Sanderson
Dr Sanderson is a Clinical Neuropsychologist Registrar who undertook her training at the University of Western Australia. She has recently completed her PhD, which is focused on understanding the neurocognitive basis of why people are susceptible to believing false information.
In her clinical work, Dr Sanderson is interested in working with people across the lifespan and is proficient at providing neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, adults and older adults. Jasmyne's areas of interest include neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and learning disorders, as well as working with older adults who may be experiencing changes in their memory and thinking skills. She adopts a sensitive and warm approach during neuropsychological assessments. She has experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and is LGBTQIA+ affirmative. Dr Sanderson has experience working in both private and public sectors. When she is not at ANIMA, she is also working in a clinical research position facilitating cognitive behavioural therapy sessions for older adults with insomnia.
In her spare time, Dr Sanderson enjoys baking, seeing family and friends, and babysitting her niece. She also enjoys spoiling her cats.
